Search launched for $200k Lotto winner in Cootamundra

SOMEONE, somewhere is $200,000 richer — and they might not even know it yet!
The Lott has issued an urgent call for help tracking down the winner of a Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw, after a first-prize ticket worth $200,000 was sold in Cootamundra.
The ticket — from draw 1712 — was purchased at Mawhood Supa IGA, but as it wasn’t registered, lottery officials have no way of contacting the winner directly.
And while the ticket was bought in Cootamundra, it’s not yet known whether the winner is a local or simply passed through town.
The mystery win comes just two months after a Riverina woman claimed a $2.2 million prize from a ticket purchased in Wagga’s Turvey Park. That winner had no idea she was a multi-millionaire until checking her numbers three days after the draw.
Anyone who bought a Lucky Lotteries ticket from the Cootamundra outlet is urged to check it via The Lott’s website, app, or at any authorised outlet.
