POLICE have seized more than $6.3 million worth of cocaine and crystal methamphetamine, along with over $100,000 in cash, allegedly found hidden inside a luxury SUV during a traffic stop in the Riverina.

The multimillion-dollar haul was allegedly uncovered in the Hay district on Friday, October 17, after highway patrol officers stopped a black Jaguar F-Pace on the Sturt Highway for roadside testing.

NSW Police said the driver, a 30-year-old man, returned a negative breath test but a positive roadside drug test.

The man was refused bail and is due to appear before Griffith Local Court on Wednesday, October 29.
