JUNEE Rotary and Junee Prime Lamb will bring a colourful celebration of Pacific culture to the Junee Athenium Theatre next month, with a free community showcase featuring nearly two-dozen performances and an afternoon of food, music and dance.

The Junee Community Island Showcase will be held on Saturday, March 21, with doors opening from 3pm ahead of performances starting at 4pm.

Hosted by the Rotary Club of Junee in partnership with Junee Prime Lamb, the event will feature 20 performances highlighting the rich diversity of Islander culture represented by many of the people who live and work in Junee.

Organisers say the showcase will offer locals a rare opportunity to experience Pacific traditions first-hand through song, dance and cultural performance, while bringing the broader community together for an afternoon of connection and celebration.

Following the performances, attendees will be invited to stay for food and soft drinks.

Entry is free, however donations will be accepted on the day to support Rotary’s ongoing community work.

Rotary is encouraging locals to attend and show support for both the performers and the wider community spirit behind the event.
