Another day, another car stolen: Police make third arrest in two days
STOLEN cars continue to keep Riverina police busy, with another vehicle allegedly taken from a Wagga street on Thursday morning.
Police say a white older-model Toyota Corolla sedan was stolen from Forsyth Street about 4.30am.
About 8am, officers located the vehicle in Tolland before arresting a 20-year-old woman near Baylis Street about 45 minutes later.
She was taken to Wagga Police Station and charged with taking and driving a conveyance without the consent of the owner.
The woman was refused police bail and is due to appear before a bail court on Friday, August 7.
The arrest comes less than 24 hours after police tracked down another stolen vehicle in Estella, where a 24-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were arrested following a dramatic search.
