Stolen cattle panels, farm gate found on North Wagga property
ELEVEN heavy-duty cattle panels stolen from a farm outside of Wagga last year have been tracked down by rural crime investigators, alongside a gate recently pinched from a neighbouring property.
Officers from the NSW Police Rural Crime Prevention Team recovered the stolen equipment during a search of a property in North Wagga on Wednesday, August 12.
The cattle panels were allegedly stolen from a nearby property in November 2025, while the gate was allegedly taken from a neighbouring farm earlier this month.

The recovered equipment has since been returned to its rightful owners.
No arrests or charges have been announced, with investigations continuing into the theft of the cattle panels and inquiries underway to identify those responsible.
Police said the recovery demonstrated stolen property could still be found months, and sometimes years, after an offence.
The Rural Crime Prevention Team has urged landholders to report all thefts and suspicious activity around rural properties, regardless of how minor they might initially appear.
Anyone with information that could assist investigators is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a confidential report through the Crime Stoppers website.
