‘Tragic loss’: Riverina rallies behind crash victim’s children
THE Riverina is wrapping its arms around the family of a young Temora woman killed in a crash near Junee, raising almost $30,000 in just two days to support her children.
Ms Sing died when the vehicle she was driving left the Olympic Highway and struck a tree at Yathella, just south of Junee, on Monday morning, June 8.
The single mother leaves behind four children and a community grieving the loss of a woman remembered for her kindness, warmth and devotion to her family.

In the wake of her passing, hundreds of people have come together to support Ms Sing’s children, donating generously to a fundraising campaign established by her cousin, Annette Jordan, on Tuesday.
By midday Thursday, more than 200 donors had contributed over $28,500 towards a $55,000 goal, with funds set to assist with funeral expenses and provide immediate and ongoing support for the children.
Ms Jordan described her cousin as a devoted mother and a cherished daughter, sister, cousin and friend.
“Emma was a bright light in the lives of so many,” she said.
“Her kindness, warmth, and love for her family will never be forgotten.”

News of Ms Sing’s passing rattled the Riverina, with hundreds of people taking to social media to express their shock and sadness at the loss of a woman whose generosity and compassion touched the lives of everyone around her.
“She was a lovely person and had a great soul,” one tribute read. “Would’ve helped anyone in need. A very tragic loss.”
“She was the best, kind-hearted and sweet,” another wrote. “She loved her kids so dearly. She will be sadly missed but always remembered.”

Temora Shire Mayor Rick Firman also paid tribute, describing Ms Sing’s passing as a “tragic loss” for the community.
“The thoughts and prayers of Temora Shire councillors, our staff and citizens remain with Emma-Jade’s family and friends,” he said.
Ms Jordan said the overwhelming response had been a source of comfort during an incredibly difficult time.
“Emma’s four precious children are facing an incredibly difficult time, and they will need all the love and support our community can provide,” she said.
“Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference during this heartbreaking time.
“From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.”
